Students are encouraged to make use of the school library books for extra, detailed studies. They must remember that they enter the library to grow in wisdom and maintain the decorum of this bank of knowledge.

RULES TO OBSERVE

1. Books must be handled carefully. In case of damage caused to the book by writing or scribbling on it, a fine will be charged as per the damage.
2. Students can get books issued during the library period assigned in the class time table. Absolute silence must be maintained.
3. They should bring their library cards and all books must be entered in the library register before they are issued.
4. Examine the book for any damage while borrowing it and if any it must be notified to the librarian immediately.
5. Books should be returned after 7 days and it could be extended for a further period of 7 days provided there is no demand for the same book by any other student.
6. Failure to return a book on expiry of the maximum period of 14 days will involve payment of a fine which is decided by the authority from time to time.
7. The borrower who loses a book will have to replace the book or deposit the cost of the book.
8. No library books will be issued during vacations. Reference books will not be issued under any circumstances.
9. If a student is undisciplined in the library he/ she may not be allowed to use the library.
10. Before the annual exam all the books taken must be returned to the library and get the NOC from librarian for getting the hall ticket.
