The social science department at Nirmala convent higher secondary school is dedicated to helping students understand society's complexities through history, geography, civics, and economics. ADMISSION CRITERIA AND ELIGIBILITY

For grades 6-8, students must have completed the preceding grade level and demonstrated a keen interest in understanding history, geography, economics and civics. For grades 9-12, admission requires successful completion of grade 8 or its equivalent, with an emphasis on analytical thinking and social studies performance. Transfer students are evaluated based on their prior academic records and, if necessary, an assessment of their aptitude in social sciences.
